Approx. $1305.5 MILLION will be given to LEGAL AID COMMISSIONS and COMMUNITY LEGAL CENTRES

This agreement seeks to BENEFIT

People experiencing financial disadvantage
Children and young people


People experiencing, or at risk of, family violence
Older people (aged over 65 years)


Indigenous Australians
People in rural or remote areas


People who are culturally and linguistically diverse
People with a disability

Benchmarks for LEGAL AID COMMISSIONS by 1 July 2015 – at least 95% of REPRESENTATION SERVICES are delivered to people experiencing financial disadvantage


Benchmarks for COMMUNITY LEGAL CENTRES by 1 July 2017 – at least 90% of TOTAL REPRESENTATION SERVICES are delivered to people experiencing financial disadvantage
The SUCCESS AND EFFECTIVENESS of this agreement will be MONITORED AND ASSESSED by the Australian Government and States and Territories

BIANNUAL MEETINGS AND REPORTS
